Accommodation/hotels in Prague:
Despite being a tourist attraction and a wonderful city to spend time in between its ancient (and modern) buildings and monuments, Prague maintained its position as one of the less expensive capitals in Europe. So you can easily find non-expensive hostels and hotels all around the town.
The conference will take place in Charles University’s original historic location in the heart of Prague. The address is Charles University, Celetna 20/562, 110 00 Praha 1 (Czech Republic). It is near the Old Town Square, The Astronomical Clock, Wenceslas Square, the Municipal House, the Estates Theatre, Charles Bridge, etc…
There are many large hotels around, but you can reserve your accommodation in any part of the city. Ensure you have a direct tram or bus line to Charles University on Celetna Street (a pedestrian street….).
www.boking.com and other similar websites can be helpful in finding what you need.
For those who wish to check the options of a hostel, you can also enter this link: https://www.czech-inn.com/ and use the code SAVE10 in order to receive a 10% discount. You can also use the same code for Sophie´s Hostel, Sir Toby´s and hotels under Miss Sophie´s chain.
The conference opens on Friday, September 13, at 8:30, so coming to Prague on Thursday, September 12, the night before, can make things more comfortable for you.
The conference ends its sessions on Sunday, 15 September, at 16:30, and at this hour we will go for our boat cruise on the Vltava (Moldau) river.
